Saranac Lake Youth Center
It's time for the 29th annual
Olga Memorial Footrace!
The Olga Memorial Footrace supports a variety of community initiatives. Over the past 29 years, proceeds have benefited projects such as the Saranac Lake Riverwalk, local Girl Scouts, and the Saranac Lake Skatepark.
This year, the Rotary Club of Saranac Lake and the Saranac Lake Youth Center are proud to continue their partnership. The 2026 fundraising goal is $15,000. Funds will support expanded programming at the Youth Center and enhance the Rotary’s literacy initiative, which provides a book to every elementary school student.

About the Youth Center:
The Saranac Lake Youth Center is your space to hang out, try new things, meet people, and just be yourself. Open to students in grades 6 through 12, the Youth Center is a safe, supervised, substance-free environment packed with activities like pool, air hockey, video games, puzzles, books, art supplies, improv, and more. Whether you want to dominate the pool table, relax with friends during Bobo Tea Tuesdays, create something awesome in our “Project of the Week,” or even earn a free bike, there’s always something going on.

And yes, there’s food. 🍕🥤 Healthy meals are served every day, with snacks and drinks always available, because great conversations, gaming victories, and creative projects are better with something good to eat.
Our mission is simple: to create a fun and supportive atmosphere where teens can build friendships, grow as individuals, and learn skills that last far beyond high school. From financial literacy workshops to recreation and the arts, the Youth Center is all about connection, confidence, and community.
So come in, grab a controller, pick up a paintbrush, challenge someone to air hockey, or just find your people. The Youth Center isn’t just a place to go after school. It’s a place to belong. ✨
